Parodontitis can now be stopped.

It is now possible for the dental profession effectively to stop the progression of the paradental, inflammative disease that finally ends up by loss of teeths.

The background and a new remedy, Regenerol (TM) is thoroughly described in a new parodontitis-publication by G. Bjørndal-Mølgaard, Denmark, entitled:

"PARODONTOLOGI I DET 20. ÅRHUNDREDE

1. HOVEDTRÆK FRA PERIODEN

2. RENAISSANCE FOR 3 HYDROXYBENZENER"

The historic part 1 of the new book (1. Outlines from the period), intends to contribute to an improvement of today’s understanding of the progressive parodontitis.

Part 2 of the book (2. A renaissance for 3 Hydroxybenzens) deals with the pharmalogical function of Regenerol as well as with the effects on the damaged parodontal tissue, showed by illustrations. The active part of Regenerol, which consists of klorphenolum, phenolum and mentholum, carry out 3 effects as a supplement to the mechanical removal of all concrements in the deepest parts of the patological pocket. The first effect is that a sufficient local anaesthesia is secured in all the pocket area as well as on the root surface. That enables the dentist to make a realistic pocket diagnosis before the final removal off concrements. The second effect of Regenerol is the establishment of total asepsis within 3 minutes, even in the most inaccessible parts of the pocket. This is to prevent the patological flora to bee pushed out into the bloodstream and to ensure that a normal flora returns after the operation. Thirdly the patological granulation tissue will be demolished by Regenerol so that normal healing, including a tight epithelium cuff
can take place.

The author now have applied the Regenerol-preparation for 12 years and evaluated results are presented in the publication.

Until now the publication only has appeared in the Danish language but great efforts is made to make it appear in the English language soon.

Regenerol (TM)

Parodental preparations for professionel use.
Regenerol I and Regenerol II contain the active substances chlorphenolum, phenolum and mentholum.
With these substances in therapeutic concentrations a coagulation of patological tissue areas and total destruction of all microbes is obtained, even in the inaccessible parts of the pocket. Regenerol I provide both functions equally, while Regenerol II mostly is antiseptic, with just small changes in the surrounding tissue.
The preparations are safe, as they do not coagulate healthy parodontal tissue. The preparations are quickly eliminated from the organism by simple ways.
The active components are non-allergenic and show sufficient low carcinogenic and mutagennic effects.
The reproductiveness in animal experiments is not affected by fx. the phenolum part of the preparation.
The preparations are simple in use and of an acceptable price
